There are 2 opportunities for members to join the KCC committee and to help develop the club over the coming years

Jon Thorne

After nearly 10 years as Time Trial Secretary Jon Thorne has decided to step down from the role from the next AGM so we are looking for somebody to fulfil that role.

During his time in the role Jon has kept Time Trials as a key part of the club’s racing activities and has refined the processes that are part and parcel of organising the club’s time trials. He has said that he will help pass that experience over to whoever picks up the reins so the new secretary will get a great introduction into what needs to be done.

Charlie Stockham

He’s not been in the role of Junior Rep for as long as Jon but with Charlie Stockham heading off to Uni this autumn he will be stepping down from his role on the committee at the next AGM and we will looking for somebody to take up this role too.

The role of the Junior Rep is to be the voice of the junior section on the committee. It’s a forward looking role that Charlie has fulfilled in a really positive and incisive manner which has helped to shape many of the decisions that the committee has made during his time on it.

We can’t thank you enough

Finally, on behalf of all of the KCC membership, I’d like to thank both Jon and Charlie for their input into the club over their time on the committee. You have both really made a positive difference to the development of the club.
