Kettering Cycling Club celebrated an overall team victory at the annual Inter-Club Hill Climb Time Trial on Sunday, 27th September !
Taking on the tough course running from Drayton up to Neville Holt, KCC riders turned out in force to put in fantastic performances across the board . The event brought together a brilliant atmosphere—both out on the climb and hosted at the Rockingham Forest Wheelers clubhouse .
In the overall competition, KCC secured enough points to lift the trophy, outscoring our fellow contenders from Rockingham Forest Wheelers and Welland Valley Cycling Club combined . The women’s team event was a closely fought battle, with KCC taking a strong runner-up spot behind Welland Valley .
A huge thank you to everyone who organized, coordinated, and volunteered as marshals and support to make the morning run so smoothly . Thanks also to Rockingham Forest Wheelers for hosting us at their clubhouse before and after the race, and to all the spectators who came out to cheer the riders up the hill !
Full event results can be found in the latest club newsletter . Congratulations to all team members who rode and represented the club so brilliantly !
