Easy Saturday Morning Social Ride
We hold the Easy Saturday Morning Social Rides approximately monthly – they are a good way to get to know Kettering Cycling Club, especially if you’re worried about your level of fitness for a regular Sunday club ride. This ride will be at an relaxed pace – aiming to cover approximately 20 miles in two hours. It’s a great opportunity to explore our local lanes and see the lovely Northamptonshire countryside. We don’t drop riders from the group and we wait if you puncture or have a mechanical issue.
Who should attend: This ride is open to all cyclists, but it is not a coaching ride. Although it is not be suitable for absolute beginners, don’t worry if you’re new to group riding – we are very happy to explain how it works and support you during the ride.
• Age under 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
• Age 16 or 17 years old not accompanied – a parent or guardian must complete a consent form signed in the presence of the KCC ride leader Parental Consent Form
You don’t need to be a member of Kettering Cycling Club to join a social ride – all are welcome – but over time we would encourage regular attendees to join.
