Surprisingly it stayed dry

What was forecasted to be certain rain, it stayed dry and the sun even came out!

It felt like the carm before the storm, grey low cloud and threatening to down pour any moment, being a humid and sticky atmosphere it was going to be a tough ride, and there didn’t seem to be any tail wind advantage.

With 16 riders signed up and the expectations of trying for PBs as the season is midway and we will soon be moving off the Lamport course. We also had the presence of Tony Hutton taking photographs, although i’ve not been able to get them yet, hence the delay in publishing this report.

Let’s get down to the results

KCC Riders

Graham Rice took the win with 25:39, with second Sue Rust with 26:18 and Marcus Buksh third 26:57.

The KCC lady Sue Rust was the only lady in the start lineup, so takes the ladies win.

In the juniors we saw juniors Lucas Buksh, Eddie Hennah and Jake Bird, duelling it out for junior points, with Lucas taking the overall junior win 28:20, Eddie second with 28:54 and Jake improving week after week with a 31:27. Great rides from all of these yound lads.
