Dual club ride : join Marcus for Social/Steady and AndyP for Training Fast/Intermediate

We are introducing a new structure to our club rides, to cater for the rider who wants a goal of speed and KOM/QOM’s to push themselves, and for the less competitive rider, who is after a social ride, taking in the views, at a pace that is suitable for conversation.

We’ve published the overview of the structure here: we-are-changing-the-way-we-structure-our-club-rides

You have a choice of:

TRAINING: FAST 18mph+ / INTERMEDIATE 16-17mph (47miles Woodfood Mill) – with Andy Parker (will split into two groups on the morning)

SOCIAL: SOCIAL 13-14mph / STEADY 15mph+ (30 miles Woodfood Mill) – with Marcus (can split into two groups on the morning, depending on rider abilities as a no drop policy)

Meet and leave from the Sainsbury’s bus stop on Rockingham Road at 9:00 am. Please arrive earlier and be ready to start off in your assigned group by 9:00am.

Registration will close the night before so we know who’s attending and more importantly the number of riders.

Please remember to wear your club jersey, it’s a great way to support and promote your club, so thank you all and lets encourage it by continuing.

As an participant in our club ride your information may be shared on the event or our club website, newsletter, social media pages or in emails sent by or on behalf of Kettering cycling club. When used, we may use your name and only shared in relation to your participation in the ride, for example tagged in photos and ride reports.
